About Sandy

As a baby, Sandy Corlett was injured so badly in a traumatic car accident that she was never supposed to walk again. While she did eventually gain full mobility, the injury from her accident caused her to be diagnosed with diabetes at the age of 18.

Over time, she tried several treatment options for her diabetes, but nothing seemed to help. After enduring long-term issues — including numerous comas, congestive heart failure, kidney failure, heart attack, strokes, digestion problems, and even vision impairments — Sandy decided to take control of her own health and wellness through natural methods.

After seeing the power of holistic health work for her diabetes, Sandy became committed to helping others improve their health through alternative methods. She started several organizations to help those who suffer from similar issues, including the Center for Nutritional Medicine, Diabetes Resource Center and the Center for Nutritional Microscopy Association.

Sandy is a licensed member of the Professional Wellness Alliance and enjoys the best legal defense possible for her holistic services.

Why did you join the PWA?

We were right “at the tip of the iceberg” where the regulations for blood (microscopy) and laboratory testing became stricter, and they were starting to come after practitioners. At the time, it would have put us in a very bad legal situation if someone hadn’t called and told us about the Professional Wellness Alliance.

The PWA was an answer to my prayers. They helped us maintain our services legally and kept our business safe. The additional credibility and peace-of-mind the PWA gives me has been an incredible benefit as well.

How has being PWA-licensed helped you in your holistic business?

I enjoy what I do, and I’m so grateful to be a part of the PWA community. Knowing that I’m a protected member of the PWA has made my job so much more stress-free, and I recommend the same for all holistic practitioners.

I’m also an educator and tell all of my students who are becoming practitioners about considering a PWA License for themselves. I let them know, if you’re not covered by the PWA, you’re flying blind. You’re in extreme legal danger. Being licensed by the PWA is exactly what you need.
