In the early 2000s, we set out on a mission to provide holistic training and create a sense of community among practitioners. We brought professionals in alternative health together in workshops around the world to share and learn. This helped create a united community among our members, but ultimately, it helped us to discover something critical that eventually shaped our entire organization.
We uncovered a major issue that places holistic practitioners at high risk...
After discovering this, the association moved away from training and into licensure to better support holistic providers in their healing missions. Although the means of achieving our mission has expanded and changed over time, the association remains an ecclesiastical-based society dedicated to helping and protecting all who seek better health.
The PWA has since evolved into a private community of members sharing holistic services. We provide licensure to holistic practitioners looking to legitimize their businesses and provide services in a safe, legal environment. PWA also serves the general public through education and increasing awareness of holistic health.
We seek to “Empower Your Mission” and support holistic providers and clients alike on their journey to physical, spiritual and mental well-being.
